WiFi Wars Coming to The Forge Comedy Club Brighton

WiFi Wars are delighted to bring their show to the Forge Comedy Club at Ironworks Studios, Brighton on Sunday 23rd April 2023.

Developed in residence at the prestigious Royal Institution in London, Wi-Fi Wars is the live comedy game show where the audience all play along!

They log in with their smartphone or tablet (no need to install an app beforehand, it’s all done in-browser) and compete in a range of games, puzzles and quizzes to win the show, and prizes!

The show is hosted by comedian Steve McNeil (team captain on UK TV’s hit comedy/gaming show “Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit”) and the whole thing is made possible by the award-winning (and Guinness World-Record-Breaking) tech whizz, Rob Sedgebeer!

There will be two family-friendly shows at 1:30pm and 3:45pm, with entirely different games/quizzes at each, should people fancy coming to both!

Recommended for age 6 and up.

Firing up the Funny: Brighton comedian, Stephen Grant has relocated to plush new hub – Ironworks Studios

The Forge Comedy Club is the brand new venture from Brighton’s undisputed king of comedy, Stephen Grant. Having founded and run the most successful comedy club in the south for the last 23 years, and helped launch the careers of many of the best known comedians in the country, it was time for the next evolutionary step.

Ironworks Studios Brighton, featuring two performance spaces and superb, state of the art facilities, allows comedians to not only perform but record their shows, produce radio shows, talks, live podcasts, and high-resolution streaming.

Our sell-out opening night in January starred Romesh Ranganathan. Now running weekly on Saturdays, we’ve already hosted the likes of Russell Kane, Marcus Brigstocke, Zoe Lyons, and Maisie Adam. Acts such as Sara Pascoe, Seann Walsh, Russell Howard, Joanne McNally, and Stephen K Amos are all coming to the Forge this year.

In keeping with the ethos of Ironworks Studios, every ticket sold includes a ring-fenced charity contribution supporting local community groups and projects.
